Carolina Pulled Pork Directions:
INGREDIENTS:
1 packet of Smokey BBQ blend
2 1/2 pork shoulder, trimmed
1/4 cup cider vinegar
For pressure cooker recipe increase cider vinegar to 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup of water
1 packet of Smokey BBQ blend
2 1/2 pork shoulder, trimmed
1/4 cup cider vinegar
For pressure cooker recipe increase cider vinegar to 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup of water
Slow Cooker:
- Rub pork with the smokey BBQ blend;transfer to the slow cooker;pour the cider vinegar over the pork.
- Cover & cook on low 9 hours or high 4 hours
- remove the pork,shred with two forks,return to juices in slow cooker
Pressure Cooker:
- Cut pork into 4" squares. Rub pork with the Smokey BBQ blend; place in pressure cooker; pour the cider vinegar & water over pork.
- Secure pressure cooker lid; set pressure valve to sealing
- Cook on manual/pressure cook for 90 minutes; leave on natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pork, shred & return to juices in the pressure cooker.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
