Canterbury Naturals Artisan Soups Chicken Tortilla Soup is a warming soup full of flavor. A hearty blend of tender chicken, brown rice, savory vegetables, garlic and chilies mingle in a tangy tomato broth.
NOTE: In the fall of 2018, Canterbury Naturals reformulated all of their soups to be non-GMO. The new soups have slightly different recipes, ingredients and flavors but are still produced with the quality you have come to expect from Canterbury Naturals.

Additions:
2 cups water
4 cups chicken stock
4 cups chicken stock
1 lb chicken breast
Cooking Directions:
1. Combine contents of soup mix, chicken, water and chicken stock in a stock pot. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Remove chicken from soup and let cool for 5 minutes. Shred with fork and then add back to soup.
3. Return to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for an additional 10 minutes
(Note: If using prepared chicken add during the last 10 minutes of cook time).
Tip: Top each bowl with crisp tortilla strips and diced avocado just before serving.
