Additions:
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
2 - 2 1/2 pound lean ground beef (or ground turkey if you prefer)
30 - 45 oz tomato (diced or stewed)
35 - 45 oz beans
Cooking Directions:

Brown meat in skillet. Drain.

In large kettle, combine chili mix with meat and stir for 2 minutes.

Add beans and tomatoes and water to desired thickness.

Bring to a boil and stir. Simmer on low heat covered for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooking.
Variations/Additions:

Stir in grated cheese.

Add a can of diced tomatoes, well drained.

Substitute 1 can beer for 12 oz water.

Garnish with a dollup of sour cream.
